Vitaco takes top East Auckland business award

Vitaco Health Group has been named the supreme winner at the RSM East Auckland Business Awards.

“We’re thrilled to share that Vitaco has been recognised at the 2026 East Auckland Business Awards,” the company said.

“Vitaco won the Excellence in Industry and Manufacturing category.”

“We’re even prouder to have taken home the Supreme Award, celebrating overall excellence and transformative impact in our business community.”

“East Tāmaki is New Zealand’s manufacturing heartland, home to 3,300+ businesses and around 40,000 employees.”

“To be recognised alongside so many outstanding organisations in the region is a huge honour.”

“This award reflects the hard work, passion and pride our people bring every day.”

The awards were held on 19 March at the Pakuranga United Rugby Club at Lloyd Elsmore Park.

They are run by Business East Tamaki with RSM New Zealand as principal sponsor.

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon attended and addressed the finalists.

Broadcaster Wendy Meyer was master of ceremonies and footwear designer Kathryn Wilson was guest speaker.

The category winners included:

  • Best New Business, Resonate Health
  • Excellence in Business and Advisory, Forsyth Barr Auckland East
  • Excellence in Creative and Digital Services, United Flower Growers
  • Excellence in Healthcare and Wellbeing, Resonate Health
  • Excellence in Hospitality and Retail, The Gateau House
  • Excellence in Industry and Manufacturing, Vitaco Health Group
  • Excellence in Innovation, United Flower Growers
  • Excellence in Sustainability, Paradice
  • Excellence in Trade and Specialist Services, Laser Plumbing East Tamaki
  • Supreme Award for Best Business, Vitaco Health Group

Resonate Health and United Flower Growers each took two categories.

Entries were free and opened in September last year, closing in November.

Finalists were announced on 19 February.
